Yes, he is an American psychologist. I believe he is very ill at the moment in hospital with covid. All his family have been struck hard. Though he and his wife Ginger have had much good to say, there has been a most unfortunate dispute between he and Robert Malone which has gone to law. It is awful. They should be on the same side. Breggin thinks that Malone (and Desment) blame the victims and, in my view, seems to descend to ad hominem attacks on times. His side of the argument can be seen at https://breggin.com/Breggins-Sued-by-Dr-Robert-W-Malone-for-25-million-dollars and Dr. Malone's side here https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/just-the-facts . The whole thing is a tragedy, a tragedy.
I admire Mattias Desmet and his long time effort to contribute to a better society, based on the principle of peaceful resistance.
When mr. Breggins accuses him of something without trying first to talk with him, i think he's not on the right side.
Maybe he doesn't have that conscience, but he is at least a little bit confused about the people who should be criticised. At least he is a confused or problematic person.

Can you share a little more about him so we know to whom you're referring?
